Translation: “Then (Timoleon) put Hicetas to death, after defeating him and, having laid siege to the Campanians in Aetna, he exterminated them. He also subdued Nikodemus, the tyrant of Centuripae, and drove him out of the city, and after putting an end to the tyranny of Apolloniades, ruler of Agyrium, he made Syracusans those who had been freed. Ultimately, uprooted all the tyrants present on the island and freed the cities, he welcomed them into the alliance”. (L.Cappelletti)

Dating: 339-338 BC
